The Epiphany Forge
Welcome to Epiphany Forge Counseling PLLC.
Nerds, weirdos, goths, punks, activists, gamers, book worms, artists, movie buffs, and outliers of all kinds: WELCOME
I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, domestic violence, codependency, substance abuse and addiction, low self-esteem, and dysfunctional family and/or relationship concerns. I am also happy to provide counseling for those desiring support with self-exploration, gender identity, spiritual exploration, and struggles with day-to-day stressors and obstacles.
I offer online individual counseling/psychotherapy to adults (18+) in Texas as well as online clinical supervision for LPC-As in Texas.
My counseling approaches include person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, narrative therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy. I enjoy integrating humor, creative expression, application of pop-culture, spirituality, psycho-education, and even relatable memes into the counseling process.

PRIVATE PAY
Epiphany Forge Counseling is private pay only and does not accept insurance. Insurance companies can often impede on the clinical process by requiring diagnosis for any claims regardless of the time it may ethically and reasonably take to determine a diagnosis, by limiting the number of or the length of sessions, and often delaying the therapeutic process.
By remaining private pay, I am better able to focus on exactly what it is you’d like to work on. Not billing insurance also ensures your privacy from 3rd parties.
If you would like to apply for Out Of Network benefits through your insurance, I can provide you with a Superbill which you can submit to your insurance provider to determine if you can receive reimbursement.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Appointment no-shows/cancellations within 48 hours will be charged the full fee.

Now that that’s out of the way:
Hi. I’m a huge nerd that lives for bringing my love of all things nerdy, weird, and creative into the counseling process.
It can be hard enough talking about the vulnerable and difficult things in your life without feeling the additional complications of trying to explain the importance of niche hobbies, fandoms, online social support groups, or any other “nerd” aspects of life during a first session with a new counselor.
At The Epiphany Forge, I bring humor, authenticity, over a decade of counseling experience, and a lifetime of neurodivergent and chronically online life experience with me to each session. I want to learn all about your hobbies, interests, creative outlets, hyperfixations, and all of the unique facets that make you YOU when you enter my office.
Looking for a more traditional talk therapy experience? I am here to listen and provide safety, respect, and structure to your sessions.
Want to talk about how your recent tarot spread got you thinking about shadow work? I’ll grab my moon water and we can dive into it!
Feel like grinding through Runescape (again) is what’s keeping you grounded during stressful life events? Let’s find a way to bring that familiar comfort into the other areas of your life.
I am here to create a safe, non-judgmental, and understanding environment for you to bring your authentic self into your counseling work. And, whenever possible, I want it to be something you ENJOY doing!
No Surprises Act
Beginning in 2022, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals, both orally and in writing, of expected charges via a Good Faith Estimate. Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, the Good Faith Estimate will include expected charges, expected services, and an estimate of session frequency. Fees for service that may be requested by the client that are not generally part of regular treatment may land outside of a “Good Faith Estimate.” These fees will be outlined in the informed consent process of therapy and will be considered above and beyond a good faith estimate. Such fees may include services such as phone calls longer than 10 minutes relating to issues other than scheduling, request for records, couples or family sessions, court appearance, etc.
Clients have a right to access their Good Faith Estimate. The No Surprise Act requires health care providers to provide clients who do not have coverage, or who are not using their coverage to pay for services (ie., self pay), an estimate of expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. This also includes the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
You can ask your provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. Keeping a copy of the provided Good Faith Estimate is the client’s responsibility.
If you receive a bill that is $400+ more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
You can visit cms.gov or call 1-800-368-1019 for more information.
